Tommy’s Barbecue

The barbecue in nearby Lexington gets most of the attention and the barbecue experts often overlook what is going on in nearby Thomasville. The locals, however, swear by the barbecue and other good food that Tommy Everhart has been cooking here since the 1970’s. I loved the friendly service and the reminder that I was eligible for the 10 percent senior’s discount. When you wind your way around downtown to get to Tommy’s, don’t forget to take a look at the famous giant chair as you cross the railroad tracks.
