Kepley’s Bar-B-Que
Location
Is Kepley’s worth a side trip into downtown High Point? You will get a definite “yes” from almost everybody who grew up in High Point, where Kepley’s is a community institution that brings back many happy memories. Kepley’s is plain and simple, just like it has been since 1948 when it opened up. That might be the secret of its success. Or maybe it is their special vinegar-based and pepper-flavored barbecue, that has kept people coming back for more, for more than 60 years.

Kepley's is about a authentic to Lexington style barbecue as you can get. It is a no frills restaurant and not very large, but always busy.
The only thing to worry about is that mr. Kepley runs a large catering business and also has a "barn" that large groups can rent/reserve for a night to host a party.
I've heard rumors that many times the leftover barbecue from these events are brought to the restaurant to be re-sold, so what you get may not always be the freshest.
