Captain Tom’s Seafood Restaurant
Location
Captain Tom’s serves their broiled and fried seafood platters, just like an old-time fish camp, at reasonable prices — even more reasonable at lunchtime. Florence Matthews eats there two or three times a week. When I told her I thought Captain Tom’s was pretty good, she looked me in the eye and said severely that it was more than pretty good — “It’s a lot better than what they’ve got at the beach.” From the crowd of people in Captain Tom’s that day, I would guess that a lot of folks agree.
